Whatever I think or believe may not carry much weight in the grand discourse unfolding in cyberspace or within the grassroots movements dedicated to addressing immediate, pressing concerns. The conversations happening around us — whether online or in person — are far-reaching and intense. So, what do I hope to achieve by writing this blog? It’s about documenting my own journey, my observations, and my reflections — as an educator, a writer, and as someone deeply committed to the ideals of equity, justice, and liberation for the marginalized and oppressed in all corners of our shared humanity. About Gil Nambatac

GIL NAMBATAC is an educator and writer-translator from Iligan City (Northern Mindanao). He has a Master in Culture and Arts Studies (MCAS) degree at the Mindanao State University- Iligan Institute of Technology where he also gained his Bachelor of Arts degree. He was able to teach as a full-time instructor at Capitol University, Cagayan de Oro City and as a part-time lecturer at the University of the Philippines Mindanao, Davao City. He was also a writing fellow for  Fiction, Drama, and Short Film at some regional and national workshops. The latest of which is the 2022 DLSU Young Screenwriters (Online) Workshop last August 6, 2022.
